That’s why Michigan Corps has partnered with Field Trip from Niantic Labs at Google to invite you - our Corps Members – to experience Detroit through Field Trip. Field Trip from Niantic Labs is a publishing platform that surfaces stories from hyperlocal partners. We’re kicking off in Detroit with stories from partners like Detroit Moxie, Curbed Detroit, and Historic Detroit, with more to come.

The spirit of Field Trip – to invite people to discover and experience Detroit’s stories – is an important piece of Michigan Corps’ mission to give Detroiters and Michiganders everywhere easy opportunities to make a difference in our home state. Through Field Trip, Corps Members and the broader community can engage with informative, inspiring, and often hidden stories about places and people in Detroit. With those stories in hand, we believe amazing connections and creative ideas will come about!

Exploring Downtown doesn’t get much better than this! Teams of four will be given clues and they’ll have two hours to scour downtown to find the answers. Some of the answers will be found through Field Trip, so get the app to enhance your chances of winning. The winning team will receive a prize, so make sure you’re ready to compete! Register now.

Detroit Walking Tour

See all the major landmarks, new developments, and some of the great historical spots from an insider’s perspective. You’ll also learn about new Detroit themes emerging around community, collaboration and creativity.
