Announcing Finalists for the Social Entrepreneurship Challenge

We're thrilled to announce our finalists and runners-up from the nation's first statewide Social Entrepreneurship Challenge in Michigan.
 
When we launched the Pure Michigan Social Entrepreneurship Challenge, we didn't know how many social entrepreneurs would emerge from around our state! After nearly 300 registrations and 160 competing submissions, we're excited to say that we've put Michigan on the map, and are building a robust community of social entrepreneurs committed to making a difference in our state.

A high caliber group of social entrepreneurship judges from around the state reviewed submissions to The Challenge, and we're excited to announce the following finalists and runners-up.

Innovation Awards 

The Fostering Energy Affordability, Magic Johnson Millennial Social Innovator, Community Ventures, and 'Spirit of Social Entrepreneurship' Awards will all be revealed during the awards ceremony beginning at 6pm at Entrepreneur Connect.

Finalists will participate in a live pitch competition on Tuesday, June 18th at Entrepreneur Connect at 3:15pm for First Second, and Third place in their respective categories. The public is invited to register to attend this first of its kind event in the state!

Each of these finalists and runners-up will be a part of building and leading an emerging Michigan Corps community of Social Entrepreneurs all over our state.
